In class: Monday, July 9th – Friday, August 3rd, 2012. Due to the late ending of the school year, the arrival date of report cards, and the Fourth of July holiday, NWLS Summer School starts Monday July 9th.
Online & Independent Studies: Monday, June 18th – Friday, August 11th, 2012. Online and Independent Study courses will be open in late June and end August 11th.
Health, PE, and Life Fitness: May 21st – Friday, August 11th, 2012. Independent Study PE, Life Fitness courses and Online Health classes may begin as early as May 21st starting at $149 per semester of credit. Call for details.
Northwest Liberty School offers a comprehensive selection of courses for students in grades 7-12 in a peaceful and beautiful creek-side location. Students benefit from our uncompromising support and vigilant staff to assure every student learns and earns credit. With over 10 years of summer school experience, NWLS staff offers many classes and options.
Students from as far away as Eastern Washington choose from regular and credit recovery, online, in-class, and contract learning courses. Core content subjects are available including English, Math, Social Studies, and 7-8 Washington State History, accelerated math for junior high and senior high students who qualify to “single or double-jump” into Honors Math.
Students are able to take regular education and credit recovery courses. Our “No Fail Policy” requires students and staff to find ways to assure all students learn and succeed. The smaller classes and individualized attention allow students an opportunity to connect to a school and its staff.
- Each four week course earns .5 High School credit (except Culminating Project and non-high school level courses)
- Tuition Ranges From $149 to $399 per course
- Course information is subject to change due to enrollment
- Enrollment Form will be available when class schedule is posted.
Attendance is critical. Summer school is only four weeks, so students must attend every class to earn credit. The principal is available to assist with schedules, evaluation of transcripts, and answer questions.
