Applications are being accepted for three positions: online social studies teacher, in class math teacher, and a front desk receptionist. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Social Studies Teacher. The position requires a WA State teaching credential and being Highly Qualified as determined by OSPI.

  • Duties require correcting online coursework and communication with students and parents. A comfort and strong aptitude in web browsers are needed.
  • The hours are flexible. Teachers need to regularly check emails and are required to grade work every 2-3 days. Hours will vary. During the school year, it will range from 2-5 hours per week.
  • Pay: DOE

Math Teacher (Algebra – Calculus). The position requires a WA State teaching credential and being Highly Qualified as determined by OSPI.

  • Duties require leading individual or small groups of students through their blended learning courses, combining online coursework with lead instruction. A comfort and strong aptitude in web browsers are needed.
  • The hours are flexible but need to be the same each week. Teachers need to regularly check emails and are required to grade work every 2-3 days. Hours will vary. During the school year, it will range from 2-5 hours per week.
  • Pay: DOE

Front Desk Receptionist.

  • Duties include: customer service, answering phone calls & emails, assisting students with the registration process, general office tasks and projects
  • Qualifications: 2+ years of college required, team oriented, strong work ethic, experience in customer service, ability to handle conflict with respect and professionalism, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to quickly shift gears and prioritize tasks, strong computer skills, highly organized and efficient
  • Desired skills: MS Office Suite, experience with trouble shooting technical difficulties, 3+ years experience working with a wide range of clients and students
  • Hours: 1:00 -5:00 pm M-F
  • Pay: DOE
