Understanding What NWLS Offers

With more choices, comes potential for confusion.   What is contract learning?  What is the difference between online and independent study? Do we offer “in-class” courses?

To help you, this chart clarifies options and gives details about each model of curriculum and instruction.  We match the needs of the student to one of our four academic models.  The chart and information are a good beginning point to understand our offerings, and options become clearer when we all meet to discuss ways to help your student.  They are more likely to be successful when options are available and their voice is expressed.
