Key physical and chemical concepts will be explored using a variety of methods. This course will help students understand how these concepts relate to the world.

For students who need Biology credit, this is an experimental science that studies how plants, animals, and protists fit into the world around us. Through lab investigations, class discussions and readings, students learn about: (a) the relationship of individuals in populations and ecosystems; (b) characteristics of plants and animals; (c) reproduction, heredity, and how humans fit into the world.
