Health 9-12
Online course .5 credit
This health course meets the graduation requirement and is a valuable, skills-based health education class. It helps students develop knowledge, attitudes, and essential skills in a variety of health-related subjects, including mental and emotional health; nutrition; physical activity; substance use and abuse; injury prevention and safety; personal health; and community health resources. Physical Education 9-12
Independent Studies .5 credit
This independent studies course meets Physical Education requirements and is designed to promote an active and healthy lifestyle through physical activity. Students document aerobic activities, muscle strengthening and endurance, and flexibility and cardiovascular endurance using a variety of activities. Exercise plan may vary according to the student.

Life Fitness 9-12
Independent Studies .5 credit
Combines 12 independent-study lessons with a student activity log that focus on cardiovascular, aerobic, and muscle-toning activities. The course promotes an understanding of the value of physical fitness and motivates students to participate in physical activities throughout their lives.

Regular Ed. (RE) 90 hrs/A, 70 hrs/B, 50 hrs/C or Pass A health/fitness packet and activity log are required and will be provided.
Credit Recovery (CR) 28 hrs/ Pass There are 12 lessons that focus on exercise, stretching, and nutrition.
